W. Brother David Kerr 60 Years Certificate and Jewel Presentation

On a wind swept night at Crumlin Masonic Hall, the Brethren of Eastern Gate Masonic Lodge No972 were joined by the R.W. Provincial Assistant Grand Master, R.W. Brother Paul Harvey and Davids Daughters for a night of celebration.

W. Brother David Kerr who first joined freemasonry  on the 9th May 1959 celebrated his 60th year in the order. He initially joined Divis Masonic Lodge No. 679 sitting at the Crumlin Road, Belfast and spent 18 happy years there before becoming a Founder Member of “Jubilee” Lodge No 865. Which sat at Carmoney Hall, before moving to Whiteabbey in 1984. David remained with 865 up until it’s closure in 2013, when he moved to Eastern Gate Masonic Lodge No 972, sitting in Crumlin Village, County Antrim. David continues to attend his Lodge on a regular basis and thoroughly enjoyed receiving his Certificate and Jewel and getting his Photograph taken with his two daughters.
