Arthur Square District Charity Committee Breakfast

Have you ever noticed Brethren that Masonic Breakfasts are a bit like buses. You don’t see one for a while and then two are held on the same day. So after my soujourne in Clough, I headed up the road to the Crumlin Road Hall where they were hosting the annual Arthur Square Masonic District Charity Committee Breakfast between the hours of 9.00am and 12.00 Noon. For once, my luck was in, and I got parked on the pavement to the front of the Hall.

Once again there was a good number of diners already at their breakfasts and a steady flow of others coming in and waiting to be fed. With the exception of Rt Wor Bro Dennis Millen, one of the Past Assistant Grand Master’s of Antrim, there were few other senior Antrim Brethren present, mainly because of the emergency meeting of Grand Lodge, being held in Molesworth Street, Dublin to elect our incoming Most Wor Grand Master for the Masonic Order within the Irish Constitution. However, as you can see from the attached photographs, once again we had a good mixture of Brethren, Families and Friends. And to put all your minds to rest, in this instance I skipped the breakfast and settled for a hot mug of coffee.

And in case, you have not already heard Rt Wor Bro Richard S.G. Ensor has been confirmed as Grand Master Designate and he will be Installed as Most Wor Grand Master at a meeting of The Grand Lodge of Ireland due to be held on Thursday the 5th June 2025 at 2.00pm, in Freemasons Hall, Molesworth Street, Dublin.
