W. Brother Jonathon McMillan was proclaimed as W.M. of Maine Valley Masonic Lodge No 492. He took it in his stride showing no nerves at all. Having been out that morning for a rather damp run with the Widows Sons he returned on time to get dried out and into the suit in plenty of time to be installed as Worshipful Master and to install his Officers for the ensuing year.
The Right Worshipful Provincial Assistant Grand Master of Antrim R.W. Brother George Graham attended on behalf of the Provincial Grand Master and a great days craic was had by all.
