W. Brother Jackie Turner receives his 60 Year Bar
Jackie was Initiated into Phoenix Lodge 48 on – 23/12/1963 and is also a Past Master of Phoenix ML48
When Pheonix ML 48 surrendered their warrant Jackie affiliated to Andrew Henderson ML 512 on 25.10.2016
He is 85 yrs of age and lived in Mervue Street Belfast until the family had to move to Carrickfergus during the Blitz. (Jackie remembers the Blitz)
He lived and went to school in Carrickfergus until he was eight yrs old. Then moved to the
‘pre-fabs’ at Donegal Park Ave after the war. And went to Mountcollyer Street School
After school he work as a ‘Plater’ in the Shipyard’
