PERSONAL
Born 3rd February 1940 off Ormeau Road but “evacuated” from 1941 to 1944 to cottage on Great Aunt’s farm near Ballynahinch. First memory, recalls being held up to look at a red sky over Belfast which he was told was as a result of the Blitz.
Married to Liz for 21 years but they have been together as a couple for almost 40 years. No children.
