Lodge 96 – Stalwart. Installation of Officers 2019

‘Brotherhood at its Best’

On Saturday 6th April 2019, Lodge 96 held its Installation in the Masonic Centre Ballymena.

The Officers of the Lodge Distinguished guests and Brethren having assumed their places, the Worshipful Master Davis Little offered the Maul to The Provincial Deputy Grand Master Designate, Right Worshipful Brother John Edens and invited him to preside. The PDGM Designate declined the opportunity, cheerfully relinquishing this honour to ‘a greater authority’.

The Worshipful Master Davis Little then proceeded to open the Lodge with great confidence & ability and with all the enthusiasm of the occasion. Having extended a warm welcome to all and salutes to distinguished Brethren, he received Assistant Grand Master Right Worshipful Brother Leslie Nixon, who accepted the invitation to preside. Having returned the Maul to the Worshipful Master the installation of the Officers proceeded. The Worshipful Master invited Worshipful Brother John (Jock) Johnston to install his successor, Worshipful Brother Willie John Mc Laughlin. This was again done with exceptional skill in Jock’s customary professional, friendly and relaxed manner. The Worshipful Master Willie John Mc Laughlin installed his officers in a dignified manner with all the confidence of his long years of commitment of Freemasonry.

Following the Installation, the Brethren gathered with their wives and partners for the festive board in the Adair Arms hotel, where a superb meal and fraternal friendship was enjoyed by all.

Congratulations to the Worshipful Master, Wardens and Brethren of Stalwart 96.
