True Blue Masonic Lodge No 89 held their Installation meeting on the evening of Monday the 8th January 2024 in the Masonic Hall at Moyarget. Ballycastle is one of our smaller Lodges in the Province of Antrim, and their guest of honour for the evening was Rt Wor Bro George Graham, one of the Provincial Assistant Grand Masters of The Provincial Grand Lodge of Antrim.
Sadly, due to illness, their incoming Worshipful Master, Wor Bro Leonard Christie was unable to attend, so their current Master Wor Bro William McMullan, remained in Office, and Installed the remaining officers of the Lodge for 2024. This was done in an exemplary manner by Bro McMullan, who had served as Worshipful Master on eight separate occasions over the past thirty years. We had in the region of 25 Brethren present and a charity collection in the sum of £ 425.00 was lifted at the dinner.
On this occasion an excellent buffet dinner, complete with wine was served in the Bushfoot Golf Club, Portballintrae. Rt Wor Bro Graham, brought us up to date on Provincial matters and also briefed us on the forthcoming Charities briefing that will be presented by Rt Wor Bro Leslie Nixon, Assistant Grand Master of Ireland on Monday the 22nd January in the Ballymena Masonic Centre. Wor Bro William McMullan was given an engraved gold watch, as a token of thanks to him for all his hard work and service  in the support of Ballycastle 89 in recent years.
