On Thursday 7th May 2020, Seven Towers and Massereene Masonic
Charity Committee made a further donation of Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) to the local Simon Community in Ballymena.
This time it was ninety-four (94) face
shields purchased from Mr. Harold McCloy
of Village Blinds, Unit 10, Pennybridge
Industrial Estate, Ballymena.

With regards to the donation, Joanne McCallister, Head of Income,
Simon Community NI said:
“Once again, we’re delighted to benefit from
the kindness and support of Ballymena
Freemasons. Their donation of face shields will
strengthen our PPE stocks, allowing us to
continue to tackle COVID-19 and provide shelter
and support to those experiencing
homelessness during these challenging times.’

W. Brother Alan Barr, a member of the Seven Towers and Massereene
Masonic Charity Committee stated that, “during these challenging
times it is vital that Freemasons continue to assist organisations such

as the Simon Community. As an Order, we will
continually ensure benevolence, which is the
cornerstone of our Order, to those facing difficult
times”.
