Magnificent effort by Redhall ML 260, Ballycarry

During the shutdown of Masonic gatherings, the brethren of Redhall No. 260 organised socially distanced events in order to maintain their donations to charities.

On a recent Saturday morning representatives of the RNLI, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Hope House and the Victoria Jubilee Masonic Benevolent Fund made their way to Ballycarry Masonic Hall. At a short ceremony the W.M., W. Bro. Ross Hawkins presented cheques to each of the charities.  I was pleased to accept one on behalf of the Victoria Jubilee Masonic Benevolent Fund with thanks. Afterwards I had the pleasure in presenting the W. Bro. Ross with a Victoria Jubilee Centenary jewel. as a demonstration of our appreciation for their efforts.

Brethren, the Victoria Jubilee Masonic Benevolent Fund has been working continuously during the lockdown and has maintained our support to Brethren and families. We will continue to do so and the support of lodges like Redhall are greatly appreciated and valued.
