£3600 Raised in Support of Action Cancer.
A Charity auction organised by The Seven Towers & Massereene Charity Committee, was held in Ballymena Masonic Centre on Saturday 28th July.
The event in aid of Action Cancer was a great success, being very well supported & attracted a large number of bidders.
With over 350 lots to be auctioned, Auctioneer Worshipful Brother Ken Crawford managed the bidding with great skill, and with lots ranging from small ornaments to a Kawasaki motorcycle, interest was keen, bidding was swift, and all lots were quickly snapped up.
Describing the great success of the event as “a tremendous team effort”, the committee Chairman Andy Kennedy congratulated all involved in organising the day.
He was delighted to welcome Provincial Assistant Grand Masters’ Right Worshipful Brothers John Edens & Sam Brennan for their support in attending the event.
While thanks goes all who assisted in making the event such a success, special mention has to be made of Worshipful Brother Ken Crawford and the staff of McCartney Crawford whose advice, patience & humour in the “lead-in” preparations, and “on the day” were invaluable.
