The Big Breakfast raises over £5000 for charity

The Big Breakfast – The Seven Towers & Massereene Charity Committee

This Incredible School’ – ‘A Very Special Place’

On Saturday 5th October some two hundred Brethren, family members, friends & pupils attended the 2019 Big Breakfast in Castle Tower School Ballymena.

This incredible school provides education for children aged three to nineteen, ensuring they are prepared for life in the community after school.  The school has state of the art facilities designed with the specific needs of children, including a hydro-therapy pool, multi-sensory rooms and even a climbing wall.   Perhaps however the schools’ greatest asset is its Principal Raymond Mc Feeters with his abundant professionalism, dedication & enthusiasm.

The event raised an excess of £5000.  The money will assist Castle Tower School in purchasing a new wheelchair accessible school bus.

Worshipful Brother George Peden noted his delight in pledging Masonic support to help the staff and the students at this incredible school commenting, “It is our aim to make our communities better places to live and work and we believe that this project fits perfectly within the ethos of what being a Freemason is all about”.

The event was supported by the Provincial Grand Master Right Worshipful Brother John Mc Lernon & Provincial Assistant Grand Masters R.W. Brothers Sam Brennan & John Edens.  The Masonic Vintage Car Club was also in attendance with their fine selection of vintage vehicles
