This morning we had our last Straid breakfast for 2024 and celebrated it by wearing our Christmas Jumpers, it was also our last chance to donate to the Cash for Kids Christmas Appeal. What a great result with over a 100 toys being donated by Masons who attend the Breakfast at Straid Hall from around the province. The toys will be delivered to the collection centre before Wednesday 18th December 2024 for delivery to children all over Northern Ireland in need, a big thankyou to all who donated.
As usual we had a good turn-out of locals, carefully dressed for the occasion and on display were a selection of the toys and gifts that were going to be handed over for Christmas. Due credit should be given to Paul Williamson and his support team for all their hard work getting the various donations organised. You will see most of them in the pictures below
We finished the morning off with a presentation to our chefs Mary, Abbie, and front of house celebratory Tom Mahon, for feeding us throughout 2024. They have looked after us all very well over the past year, so we took this opportunity to give them all a little thank you from us, for all their hard work on our behalf. Â
And as the morning came to a close, we all exchanged Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year, when we all hope to meet up again.
