Abbey 180 recently celebrated their Sesquicentennial, 1869 to 2019 ( 150th Anniversary) and to mark the occasion an Emergency meeting was held. In attendance where the Deputy Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Rodney L. McCurley, Provincial Grand Master of Antrim, R.W. Bro. J. McLernon, Provincial Deputy Grand Master of Londonderry and Donegal, R.W.Bro Kenneth Doherty and the Provincial Assistant Grand Master of Londonderry and Donegal, R.W.Bro. Grahame Harper.
A 150 Year Jewel was commissioned and they were presented to Lodge Brethren and Visitors by the Deputy Grand Master, R.W.Bro. Rodney L. McCurley, Provincial Grand Master of Antrim, R.W. Bro. J. McLernon and the Worshipful Master, W.Bro Lee Burnside.
At the Festive Board which followed, a history of the Lodge from 1869 to 2019 was delivered by W.Bro. Joe Corr and a booklet was produced to reflect the presentation.www.abbey180.com
