The stated communication of Cullybackey Masonic Lodge No. 537 was held on Thursday 10 October 2019. A sizeable gathering of Brethren witnessed being presented with his 50 year Jewel by the Provincial Assistant Grand Master, Right Worshipful Bro George Graham accompanied by W Bro S Wilson, WM of the Lodge. W Bro TL Getty has been a faithful member for those 50 years. He served as WM in 1984 and has held the offices of Steward of Charities and Director of Ceremonies. A joiner by trade and many artefacts in the hall were made by him. The evening was brought to a close by supper, which is a nightly occurrence with this Lodge and introduced, coincidentally, many years ago by W Bro TL Getty
