Freemasons support local mental health charity
Lisburn & District Masonic Charity Fund has made a donation of £600 to Emerge Counselling which provides services to clients with mental health problems including self-harm and suicidal tendencies. At the presentation of the cheque, the Chairman of the Trustees of the Lisburn Fund Arthur Morgan, said that the freemasons are very keen to support charities who make a positive contribution to the well-being of the local community. In 2019, the members of the various masonic units that support the Lisburn Charity Fund raised over £21,000 for charitable works through their various functions.
